Dean Chelios had the winning goal and added an assist as Michigan State (10-5-1, 6-4 CCHA) beat visiting Bowling Green 4-1 on Saturday night. Greg Wolfe, Lee Reimer and Daultan Leveille scored the other goals for the Spartans.
After the two teams struck on their opening drives, the Badgers used some trickery and had running back Montee Ball throw a pass to quarterback Russell Wilson, who advanced the ball to Michigan State's nine-yard line.
