Jim Bowden of ESPN.com and MLB Network Radio reports that although there is no deal yet, Jimmy Rollins is ultimately expected to re-sign with the Phillies. That's been the sentiment for a while now. Jim Duquette of MLB Network Radio reported earlier
12/6/11 DALLAS – Despite a November meeting with possible free-agent target Aramis Ramirez, the Phillies remain focused on re-signing Jimmy Rollins. “Certainly is,” general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said on Tuesday. The two sides are still a ways apart.
